Home preparation is the first thing you need to do as soon as you settle your pup with your breeder. In general, your breeder will hold on to the pup for at least a few weeks or until it’s ready to leave its parents.
Such a time would be enough for you to make some changes to your home. Since your pet will like to roam around its new home, you may want to make sure it’s safe. It’s what we call puppy-proofing.
You can do such a thing by putting away hazardous items. Among these are medicines, cleaning supplies, and even your valuable items.
